03 luglio I PASSED MY EXAM!I'm so proud! It wasn't useless to make our practice every morning in Morocco. And it was hard to keep touch with yoga when so much things happens at the same time all around!
My level of yoga-teaching is now Introductory-2! It's only beginning of the long journey of course... but really important step forward!
I realized that I need to spend more time with books and to learn Pranayama more to get into touch with higher state of mind and body as like as to get prepared for the next level in 2 years...
These days I celebrate, learn to dance gnawa and try to play Guembri in the forest!
8-10 of July I go to Montenegro to pay for the house we are going to rent in September and to enjoy concert of Rolling Stones with my friends
I WISH EVERYBODY STAY STRONG AND BLESSED FROM ABOVE! 27 giugno finally at home... OH!!!Well... it's hard to describe how I feel after such an amazing trip! Morocco is a country really blessed by God!
Actually we didn't go to Sahara after Fez, after 2-3 days of rest in Rabat my moroccan brother Omar, my ivoirien brother Jahmill, russian sister Lena and I - went to Ouzoud. Les cascades d'Ouzoud...
After Fez-festival we really needed some relax in peaceful atmosphere and so we got on waterfalls, without any electricity in camping place hehehe I took it easy cause I have old-fashioned photocam wich works without batteries, tomorrow after getting negative film from Photo-LAB I will actually know if I have some nice pictures of morning in Ouzoud or not! So, wait a bit, my dear friends!
Essaouira... Sawira... the place to be
Actually it's useless to describe how funny it was, such a friendly winds of hope and love are blowing there... enjoy pictures!
p.s.: pictures from Fez and Rabat I will put aside in photo-folder - don't miss them!!!
06 giugno hallo from Fes!Here I am! We came just few days ago but I already forgot about my home, my city and work, about everything. It took about 24 hours to get the place from Moscow. We had to change 2 airplanes and 3 trains from Casa-airport.
It was funny adventure as we slept on the metal bench in turns until sun started to rise. Sunrise was unbelievable but the windows were too dirty to make good pictures. We took a train from airport to the station of Casa, but one old woman just pushed us both back into carriage on Casa-voyageur and we missed our point of change trains so... strange story. We suppose that she just liked to ride with us one more station? hehehe
We are in Fes until 10th of June...
This festival of sacred music is much more interesting than I though in the beginning!
See this web-site to find out more about this -
In the air You can nearly smell unbelievable mixture of cultures and spiritual movements of any kind.
People came here from all around the world (australia, england, USA, India, Pakistan, Syria and from Russia only Elena and I)
We visited 6 concerts in previous 2 days as we didn't want to miss anything. Masters of Qawwali music from Lachore were great last night, kept the public in charge all the time. I think it's better to let public dance on such perfomances. For those who are able to pay the tickets - there is no freedom in movements! Why so? As if rich people are less free than poor ones. That's it hehehe Every night Elena, Imad (guy from art-exgibition) and I both go to evening concerts on Bab Makina square and then to the party of Soufis in Dar pasha Tazi. Soufic nights are prayer sessions, every night different brotherhoods perform their music of awakening mind and soul, we wonderfully got places in front of the stage so we are able to see every wrinkle on the face of Scheikh - the teacher who leads and preach trough his singing. We also saw Dhikhr - a traditional soufic practice from Turkey, the famous "rotating dervishes" school...
I will try to make few pictures smaller to let You know how it looks like!
God bless EVERYBODY
ONA MOVE!
30 maggio ... somethere near Mumbai - hot summer in Moscow :)I passed my preview! Thank You Xenia!
ASTROLOGY: I would like to advise those who follow horoscopes not to begin new business from 15 june until 11 july. Mercury wents into retrogradation - that's the reason. it's right time to get clear of debts of any sort, to work with deep analizys, reading documents and for different investigations. take care over there :)
I'm pretty tired from everything here and this "moscow summer" I feel it's worse even than hot in Sahara! I remember the summer like this when I slept partly on the window-still and half on the work-table covered with wet bedsheets and been gazing the stars above...
I called my friend Natalia (from montenegro trip) to walk together in the forest today, so we walked and then I finished translating of Lipovac letters to His Magesty at her home, old-fashioned text with lots of lyrical digressions. My part in this project is over...
hope to write more from Fes! 19 maggio just came back and gonna MOVE!Dear friends!
I just came back from Tula and Montenegro. In Montenegro it was great experience for me to take a part in historical investigation with my friend Natalia. After all we done she must write a good book about this character - general Lipovac from Gradjani.
I will write about him after I come back from Morocco
In Tula I liked Indian party in night-club after the first day has been done. Those guys from Rajastan made atmosphere great in a moment. I jumped all the time taking my part in common joy and happiness. The serbians had lots of troubles to get their stuff from our custom service so we were extremally happy after perfomance had been done and everybody drunk of course... except who? of course ME :)

an old poem of mine
September storyby: Anastassia O SemenovaI know: Love underlay it - BE CONTINUOUS, STRONG AND BLESSED HERE AND NOW! 20 aprile music from present Russia and USSRRon woke me up about russian music actually, so I would like to share with all of You some results of my research, everybody are welcome to post coments
The first one is world-famous HUUN HUUR TU-group from Tuva-land, part of Russia. Tuva-people came from Mongolia ages ago and they speak one branch of turkish-languages.
The second one is compilation of russian folk-songs dedicated to Maslennica - pancake-holiday which been celebrated ages before Russia was christened as a "Winter's death day"
The third one is actually funny music-video made in 70-ties by soviet television.
Song from movie "Violent romance" (singing last words dedicated to love which ruined her to death)
One of my favorits - PELAGEYA performing song of Vladimir Vysocky
Vladimir Vysotsky pefroming his song "Ballade about Love" (from movie of early 70-ties) with lyrics above translated to english, I LOVE THIS SONG! (2 versions!)
Vladimir Vysocky (1938-1980) the most popular songwriter in Russia until nowdays…
Ballad about love - translated by Jouravel
When, after all, the Great Deluge was over, The seas came back within their coastal lines, Out of the foam of the receding water The love came out softly to the land. And, for some time, it faded in the air, And lasted for an eon and some then.
And some eccentrics that still do exist Inhale with their full lungs that crazy mix, Expecting neither scolding nor reward, And thinking they are free to breath it in They realize one day that they fit in Somebody else's intermittent breathing.
But remember: a feeling's like a boat It's afloat until you realize: That the words "I love" mean simply that "I can breathe" and "I am still alive".
There will be plenty of despair and roaming. The land of love is the most noble land. The knights of love will have to go through testing With ever higher standards and demands. They will be separated by a distance, Devoid of leisure, sleep without rest.
But nothing in the world can turn them back. Those madmen do agree to pay it back, Pay any price, their lives won't be excepted In order to preserve and to protect Some indiscernible and magic thread Which love between them now has extended.
Wind and snow swept them off their feet, Made them drunk and raised them from the dead. 'Cause remember you have neither lived, Nor have breathed, if you have never loved.
And most of them have choked with love forever. They can't be reached no matter what you do. They are accounted by idle talk and rumor, And that account is laced with pure blood. But we will light up candles in the memory Of those who died from the unprecedented love.
Their souls, among the flowers, will run And their voices will blend and sound as one. They will inhale eternity together. And somewhere, on a fragile river cross, A narrow bridge across the universe Holding their breath, then they will meet each other.
I will open fields to those who love! Let them sing awake and in their rest. I do breathe and that means - I'm in love! I'm in love and that means - I exist!
06 aprile I was asking "heaven" for my destinyInteresting person I found on youtube - Pierre Grim. I watched almost all videos about meditation and other points...
I asked for my predestination while I was meditating by night... and very soon after I got 2 more proposals of translation from serbian (and 1 I already have from earlier!) and one is connected with theatre! I like theatre so much... So I decided that translation and work with text is my fate? Let us see... hehehe
I will come back to blog as soon as possible.
Have a nice EASTER my friends!
STAY STRONG AND BLESSED FOREVER 01 aprile Last weekend I was nicely busy with my teen-brother Pasha from St-Peterburg, we took lots of walks around. I'd like to share some pictures with You, because I still don't have good program for making short-video on PC from my new DVD-camera. I've downloaded one but it doesn't work properly. The old one puts no sound into video ... so until then - let me show You photographs I made a week ago!
p.s.: I still dream about my 50 years old photo-camera to get film for it and make some old-fashioned pictures 28 marzo another translated poemCablegram

19 marzo great sunday-eveningCan You imagine that nobody accepted my invitation for sunday evening?
I didn't mean about to spend some time, to drink vodka (pfuuu)...
There was a perfomance mixted from Elena Frolova's amazing songs and works of animator Alexandr Petrov, a living genius who made "The old man and the sea" The Oscar for animation in 1999!
I didn't tell that Petrov himself also was there to speak about his work, to share his vision of the world with us - about 50 people only (!) gathered in tiny musical teathere of Elena Kamburova
So I went alone!
... I love that place, I'm always shaken by atmosphere there which imparts some sence of family meeting or celebration...
Petrov felt shy, sometimes confused in words, but his animation opened the magic window to the dreamland and I didn't make any movement in my body until seance was finished, nobody did...
Frolova looks and conducts herself like a true shaman, she made us trust absolutely her different personalities in few various songs. She's very unusual person - singer and music-maker, deeply traditional with her instrument GUSLI (Psaltery )
U can listen to her songs on-line here >>> http://www.asia-plus.ru/cgi-bin/mp3.cgi?id=2&sid=4867fd19-94df-4299-b7e2-a0ff98d2083e&p=1
The whole act was so hypnotic that we all were just rooted to the ground for 3 hours without a brief... 12 marzo the letter - poemLetter to P.M.

11 marzo workshop with Stefany...I'm busy these few days because of great experience I'm gettin' on the yoga workshop for teachers with Stefany Qwirk (not sure for spelling) from New Zeland. She actually live in Pune/India for years and assist to our teachers - Iyengar and his family http://www.bksiyengar.com/ . This workshop is mostly about the healing treatment in our practice of asanas but also deeply connected with the filosophy of Yoga. I'm very happy to hear and explore those points. Because after 5 years of practice I still find myself making the very first steps on the great road of INVESTIGATION. Scorpions loves investigations, You know... I really wish to become more connected with the basics of PURITY of LIFE. I do want to understand, to be helpful for the people I teach.
Even if one suppose that he knows enough for the instant, the next step is to get that he knows nothing for the future. I'd like to be able to keep it always in my mind and within my heart... 03 marzo one of my poems finally translated
26 febbraio Bath-house as an entertainment!Every Sunday I go to public bath-house (better known name sauna) “Sanduny” with my friend Elena (not yoga-teacher but another one). It is one of the national Russian entertainment, I saw a lot of foreigners there. On the wall I even saw wrapped up in sheets Silvester Stallone who visited Sanduny few years ago (not only him but lots of stars). I decided to describe how it looks like, maybe chaotic but from the heart. Theresa, U welcome to prepare yourself for my country and its beauties!
First step when U come into lobby – U should bye A TICKET for 2 hours in 1st or high-class. We - Elena and I go to 1st class because there are 2 wooden vats with ice water. So… men and women take a bath separately. But it’s case only for the public bath-houses. In the countryside people always go to take bath altogether – men, women, the aged and children. I remember such things from my childhood. The last weekend in Aksakovo we went to sauna. Finnish sauna is not the same with Russian bath with steam, it's dry.
So… in the big hall U search for free numbered place on the chesterfield there U take off your clothes and slip on some sheet or Turkish towel. Don’t be afraid if U forgot something at home – U can find everything there even slippers or Bath-caps. Usually people drink some green or herbal-tea (or beer) before taking a bath. My friend Lena and I we brought 2 kinds of honey to taste.
Bath-house attendants came out the bath-room to the hall and call everybody “UNDER THE STEAM” and fun begins! It’s about +110C or more inside and each person is searching for place to seat on the wooden floor as fast as it is possible. Because when U step in, sometimes it’s too warm so U should cover your face with towel to protect the skin from burns...
When everybody sits, attendant increase the steam to the maximum splashing the water on heated bricks of the gas-furnace and after on the walls below us. I can’t spend more than 10 minutes there, briefing slowly without any movement and eyes closed. From inside it looks like if U are on another planet. Then U go out the bath-room and dive into ice water, usually 3 times in the name of the Holy Trinity.
One of the most important thing in a whole process is “ THE GOOD BROOM”. Good Broom is a CONCEPT! Bath-broom could be oaken, birchen or made from eucalyptus fronds. Brooms are waiting for their time boiled in wash-tubes…
After few sittings under the steam attendants calls everybody “UNDER THE BROOMS”. Because steam for the broom could be “softer”. Elena immediately takes an oaken broom from hot-water and begin to lash my whole body while I lay down the bench screaming “hold on! Hold on!” The same repeats when I take broom in my hands. Broom plays the role of a natural scrab and it cleans and renew the skin perfectly.
In last 15 minutes U should find some time to scrape off the rest with some hand-made masks – for example: ground coffee & honey is trendy in Moscow now. We mostly use ground oat in cream. It smells so nice that I never resist the temptation of taste some “porridge”
2 hours are finished so U should leave your place on the chesterfield and join the people on the snow-covered streets…
24 febbraio photo-idea from Ron
Once Upon a Time on Planet Earth A Global Unity Project
Once Upon a Time on Planet Earth there was an event so big that it changed the course of humankind. An event that shook the Earth to its very core. It is an event we are destined to see again if we do not change the course of world affairs. WHAT WAS THIS EVENT? Can you guess? The details of this event are well known and will be revealed at a later date. The idea is to get people from all over the world to participate in a single project to photograph their part of the world on August 6 at exactly 8:15am .........(the exact time and date of this historic world altering event). The project will be limited to 200 participants from around the world. For more details on this project contact me at littlebookofman@hotmail.com include your name, the country you represent, and what you think this WORLD ALTERING EVENT was. Remember, the date is AUGUST 6 at 8:15am. The photographs taken on this day and this time will be used to create an Online Exhibition to commemorate this WORLD ALTERING EVENT. It is my hope that this can become an annual event with participants from around the world. FROM RON 22 febbraio yoga under the snowit's so cold at work-place that in today classes instead of doing "relax-program" - I forced my students into standing postures and other activities. But me (!) kept walking between the mats barfooted oh! My teeth were knocking all the time so unfinished phrases froze in the air. And of course I didn't stay in personal room to finish my own practice and catching a chill by the way. My friend Elena, who teached class before mine, has commented everything occured like "anti teeth-clattering practice"... those are features of the national yoga in Russia - WELCOME! 18 febbraio weekend far from the city...it was great weekend with my new friends I met on the Stockholm trip. I always wonder how friendly and funny people can be in spite of the fact that modern society is hard-hearted. They cared of my vegetarian diet and never pressed on me to drink alcohol for "keepin' up the party". We had a lot of fun in sweeming pool and on the skating rink (I never skated before!). And of course I can hardly forget our night-fight in the snowdrifts - monkey business in the snow is great. I shooted over 200 snowballs and my arm still hurts today... I came back home with a sence that I spent over a week (!) in winter-dream world... far from the city, far from cares and speed of the world... 16 febbraio about racism in RussiaTheresa, I watched this video U gave me. I'm not sure about this fire in Lumumba-univercity because I didn't hear exactly what happened and nobody knows. And I heard about those murders in Voronezh and St-Petersburg, it's awful especially when children were attacked. But guy who attacked sinagoga - he went in jail for sure. In my building one african man live for 20 years, Antonio. I never heard from him about beating but I know he doesn't have too much good friends in neithborhood. I can speak only about ignorance in this case... Sometimes people are afraid of strangers, not only black but any stranger. Actually I met real neo-nazi Miron. He was very interested in my friendship and romantic maybe for few days but after he asked me "aren't U Jewish maybe?" ...so I laughted and told him "if I AM - would U get out right now or wait for 15-20 minutes?" I lost his tracks, he was intelligent but wrong educated, that's it... Few days ago I've been in subway and saw black guy who was asking about some destination - 3 young people came (including me) to help him with the map.
I'm probably an idealistic person but racism won't go deep into russian mind because it's not natural for us. Our most famous poet was black-rooted, U know, Pushkin ...
Hope to see U in Moscow and feel free to ask anything U need, I will try to help
this girl lives in Moscow-center all her life, U may contact her probably and ask about racism?
take care! |
